1.The Child and the Dog. At what age can a child have a puppy of his own and how does the child learn how to handle  the puppy.

2.Collar and Leash. First we get him to accept the collar through a few clever techniques and then we teach him how  to walk on the leash.

3.The Play Pen. How do we make a play pen for our puppy and what should we look at if the puppy is indoors or outdoors?

4.Sleeping with People. Now thats interesting?  Is it right or are we making a mistake letting the puppy come into our bed?

5.Stool Eating  Yuk! ..It disgusts us but  once we understand the reasons why he does this we can create a solution!


In Stage 3 2-3 months we have 11 subsections. 
5 of those 11 subsections are...
1.Drooling. People worry sometimes when they see saliva stringing down from the corners of the dog’s mouth.Why do some dogs do this and not others? 

2.Draft. Learn why draft is one of  the puppy’s meanest enemy

3.Sunshine and Panting. The first sign of over-heating will be increased panting. The dog’s body cannot rid itself of extra heat so what precautions do we need to make and what do we do if the puppy overheats. 

4.Spaying.If your dog is a female, you will want to decide whether or not she should be spayed. Know the right time to do this.

In Stage 4 7-10 months We have 12 subsections                                        
5 of those 12 subsections are...

1.Titbits and Supplements. Is it ok to give our dog tidbits from the table and what is right for our dog.

2.Care of the House Pet in Season.Learn what the early signs are and how to keep the neighbourhood dogs at bay. Heroic measures are needed for her protection!

3. Excessive Barking. The dog that barks for no reason can drive you insane. There are a few easy ways to stop the yappy in his tracks.

4.Jumping Up on People. This becomes a very irritating behavior as the puppy gets older. You may not mind but other people find it frightening or embarrassing. get a hold of this behavior early

5. Car Chasing. This happens in most communities and needs to be stoped early .It is not only dangerous on the roads but a dog can be laid low in its own driveway
  
 
      This is a really important time in a dogs life where mistakes are made.    
If these behaviors are not corrected then they will have a lasting impact on the dog  and also you and your family.

         It is really sad when a dog becomes a problem in a household because of a behavior that was not corrected early.

This could have turned out so much better if we had only known what to do.
