SKIN

 Healthy dogs will have skin that is silky without
scabs,growths,white flakes or red areas.

EYES
Healthy dogs have eyes that are  bright and shiny.Mucus and watering is normal but should be minimal and clear.

EARS

In healthy dogs the skin in the ear should be pink and clean and there should be some yellow or brownish wax but alot of wax or crust is abnormal.
A healthy dogs ear should be free from redness and swelling and the dog should not scratch its ears or frequently shake its head.


NOSE

WEIGHT

Don't let your healthy dogs get fat. Do not feed too many between meal snacks. Obese dogs can develop serious health problem just like humans. In healthy dogs you should be able to feel the dogs rib cage area without too much padding,if not then your dog is obese.

ELIMINATION

Healthy dogs have urine that is clear and yellow.
Adult healthy dogs would usually have one or two bowel movements a day. Stools should be brown and firm.
