A Glimpse on the Terrier Breeds

Whatever your dog preference is, you are sure to find Terrier Breeds among the candidates for a loving pal. You’ll get energy you want with little grooming and added wit.

Highly energetic dogs with loads of personality and requiring alot of exercise and play. They crave attention and like to be amused with games like ball throwing or anything esle that involves some action!

Basically bred for hunting and killing vermin, Terrier breeds are now known to offer a wide spectrum of features and characters that you might find lovable. They are not as cuddly as toy dogs (while there are some terrier breeds in the toy and companion dog brackets) and they may not be as intelligent like other breeds but they set off these lacks with various things that only they can offer.

These are very energetic dogs whose sizes range from  very small, as in the Cairn or West Highland White Terrier, to the Airedale Terrier, the largest in the breed.

Terriers typically have little tolerance for other animals, including other dogs and so make sure you check out the lay of the land if you are going to bring them somewhere with other dogs.

In general, they make engaging pets, but require owners with the determination to match their dogs' lively characters...not for the faint hearted!
